5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hey, I moved your thread from the intro section to this forum. You'll get a better response here from some cool guys who know the Camry.
Good Luck and Welcome to The Nation
Normally I would say do the search but recently I learn the search on TN sux so I'll spoon feed U... look in this thread and U'll learn a lot on how to improve stuff with your new Camry GEN 5&6 AFTERMARKET BLOWOUT sale!!!
All and all they're solid cars. I have a 2008 LE V6 with about 14K on it. Still runs and looks like new. Just pay attention to the way the car shifts when you test drive it. Gen 6 V6 Camry's are plagued with the infamous transmission flare. Mine flares once in a wile, but not too badly.

+1 and for dashboard rattle.O yeah by the way to TN.
lets keep this on topic and help the fella lol. freaking tn users and your ADD =)
There are springs, struts, coilovers, front strut bar, rear sway bar, H bar available for our cars. It'll make your car handle on rails, depending on what kind of setup you want.
problems were listed previously by TRD toyota and LOV. the flare is really not that common actually. as LOV said, just pay attention to how your transmission shifts. the dashboard will also rattle in a few cars, theres a TSB for this to go to the dealer and getting it fixed under warranty.
There are people that race their camrys, me being one of them lol. Gene and I are running turbo camrys right now, and its actually a pretty impressive platform to start building on. Canyon racing is probably the most preferred out of the socal area, but then again, this forum does not support illegal activities including racing =)
Theres a bunch of people here on springs, a couple on coilovers, and two guys on air rides.
You'll find this forum to be interesting, and not only so, to be your home page and something you check on more than your calls back to your mother. So be prepared to enter a whole world of tuning and camry maintenance...
Good luck w/ your stuff. If you have any questions, I'd suggest you do a search first. If you don't find what you need, you can shoot me a PM or start up a thread if you need a general consensus, though I suggest PM to unclutter the forum. There are different engine, suspension, tire/wheel fitment, maintenance gurus here that will be more than happy to help you out through the PM method. strangely, these same guys will turn into brutal animals that will tear you apart if the occasion calls for it =)
Let me know if you need anything. Shoot me a PM if you need parts also. I'm the parts guy lol.
