Aftermarket cats?

I did a search on this but couldn't find threads that focused on this topic. Would there be a significant performance increase if I purchased aftermarket catalytic converters on the Gen6 V6s? If there is a significant benefit, what brand/model might you recommend and how much do they cost?

i dont think so much just w/ high flow cat.
maybe some with custom cat back and delete resonator

I'm going 2.5" piping with a high flow Magnaflow cat, no res.

So are you guys saying that getting high-flow cats (maybe Magnaflows), removing the resonator, and having new custom piping installed to my Magnaflow mufflers is the way to go? What kind of power increase would I see?

sounds the same as what i'm going to do. Except ofcourse you have duals.

I don't think there's much HP gain, atleast nothing you can feel.

The sound will be changed for sure. Deeper, louder.
