Angry It's impossible

It's impossible to have anything nice in this city (NYC)
This confirms for me that I should not get any new rims, and quit once my LEDs are done. My 5 month old ride got jabbed with a phillips head scredriver or the like TWICE on my driver side door. By the time you chip off the loosened paint I now have 2 near nickel sized dents with no paint. Wonderful.
I either wanna cry or really F someone up. One can't have anything too nice in this city. My story is one of many. If I did'nt have such a good secure pension to look forward to? I'd be gone

ouch man im sorry to hear that happen to you. i see you live in Brooklyn. I live in Queens and thankfully I havent had anything that severe happen to me... *knock on wood*. The closest thing was getting my old 93 WHITE camry tagged with black permanent marker. Luckily it was recently waxed so I was able to take it off..

Well, I had primer.....sealer and toyota black in my house already. (I build scale model cars) and did my own touch up so from far all it looks like is 2 nasty dings. At least its all black for the time being. I can't just go fix this because it's a lease, and if I fix it now and then more shit happens, I'll b paying twice for repairs before I turn it in. I may have to live with looking at this for 2 yrs. Ugh, I dunno
Thanks for the love though

I messed up my steering wheel, I gave up on the fogs, I had lots of window chips, and paint chips on my old LE lease.

One way... I traded it in.

I used to do that, than some dumb ass still go all the way out to park next to me.

Seem like the best option for OP is to fix it up and sell it.. or sell as is.. than buy a half broken down car.

I love NYC, lived there 2 years ago for my first job out of college.

But if you want to keep a car, definitely either pay for parking, pay for a garage, OR drive a beater.

+1

Best bet is to see if one of the houses in ya hood rents our their garage. I lived in Queens too and resorted to paying my friends father rent for a garage space @ their house after they stole my accord and basically stripped it.

I live in Old Mill Basin, work near Hudde JHS. Seems like a lot of shit happens in that area. I used to teach at Marine Park, NEVER a problem, just like my neighborhood. BUT then again, I lived in Bensonhurst and had a 92 Camry stolen years back, so it is just a matter of time if you live here.
There is supposed to be an April meet for the NYC metro area, stay posted.

dcemureviews is supposed to be settn it up, stay in touch. Good to meet a local Brooklynite who feels the pain

Thing is you can put the bumper covers all over the car like the cabs have it...but there goes any sense of styling. Your right, parking in nYc sucks. If you car is white, both bumpers will be black with nic and scrapes within the month. Might as well take the train to work. A little more xpensive b/c of the metro card, but at least u can keep your mileage low.
