Hi Everyone,
Just got the LED's I purchased for the license plate bulb replacement. The LEDs I purchased are http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

(note I found a coupon code for 15% off that worked for me this week: "NICOCLUB") I selected USPS priority mail. Ordered Tuesday night. Shipped Wed. Arrived Friday! Came in a cardboard box as well.)

I did have to cut off a little notch on the rim of the bulb socket holder to be able to twist the socket such that the bulb would face downwards. After that the socket stays snug. The reason I purchased these is because you need a bulb that will face downwards or else the brightness will be crap.

Here are some pics. I compare the brightness to those on the Lexus IS or better.

the last thing id want is for my plates to be brighter, but that's just me.

I'll try to take one tomorrow night. It really adds a nice touch to the rear of the car at night.

Haha if youre trying to blind the cops from reading ur license plate thatll work for ya. Def take a pic from farther away.

Nice, I changed my interior bulbs to bulbs sold by V-Leds. Highly recommended.

Ya, I could not find a similar bulb anywhere else. Service was great. I asked them for the dimensions of the bulb which is 10x24mm and they responded in a day. I follow the law so no worries with cops... Some of you may want to do that

Most people don't want their plates to stand out. I can guarantee if you had those in NJ you'd be ticketed.
