I can get either for about the same price, so that is not a buying factor for me. Can you guys offer any advise for me?

well you are comparing a short ram (k&N) and a cold air (fujita). people will argue that you will get more gains off the cold air. but the reality of it all is that you will barely notice such gains...if any. only thing you'll gain is an aggressive roar from your engine with either of those installed.

Stupid question...but how aggressive?
I searched for audio/video clips and could not find any good ones...
So, the K&N is easier to install?...sounds like a winner to me
cold air... u need to watch out in the rain, or not drive at all.
What is SRI?
And don't you need to be in a flood to suck in a intake's worth of water?
Isn't the stock intake in the front bumper?...so any of these 2 mentioned intakes are higher than the stock one...meaning you have to be more carefull (to not drive in 2 feet of water)with the stock one?

sri = short ram intake...search for fujita threads. One of them shows where the intake is located - low behind the front, left wheel well. Therefore the warning to suck in moisture with the CAI from Fujita (SRI is high in the engine bay).
