alrite, ill ask him, i think he'll do it, but i need some tips first
like, when i mash down the pedal at a stand-still, i get massive tire spin, so when i launch, do i just push down a little for it to stick and then floor it?
and should i turn o/d off? so 4th gear won't engage?
lastly, maybe its just my mind, but when i turn o/d off and push down the pedal from a stand-still.. the car seems to give me more power quicker.. i kno it's not the function of o/d, but ive tried several times with same results
First off the bimmer that your racing is the slowest one currently produced by bmw. Plus with the addition of AWD it's even slower. 7.6 sec 0-60 for manual, 8.6 for auto. You also gotta realize that BMW produces the best 6 cylinder engines in the world. It has half a liter less displacement and yet it still is nearly as powerful as the 1mzfe, and has a considerably higher hp per liter. If you wanna race to prove your car try hanging with an M3. Then you would be the man, but not nearly as styling.
Bottom line, you should be able to take him, but as far as bragging right, I think it would bring none.
P.S.
I just bought a Camry killer, and bimmer killer . Still have my Gen 3, but my Nissan Altima 3.5 with exhaust, intake and headers does 0-60 in 5.6 sec. Toyota needs to get back on the ball, everyones cars are faster it seems like.
uh... isn't an M3 racing a camry kinda like.. not fair..? haha
if i took the extra amount of money an M3 costs and dumped that into performance modding for a camry.. i think the camry would win (speed wise that is)
You think you could make a cam do 0-60 in 4.7 sec? Good luck. Even if you did you could never match it's handeling. Besides, who would pour that extra money into a cam over having an M3?
But again, with the 325xi you should barely take it, assuming you have good tires.
