Engine Swap

Hi guys ,

How involving would it be to swap the 2.4L 4cyl to the 6cyl in a 2002 SE? Would it mount right in, or would fabrication be necessary? It is a 5 speed.

What engine would swap correctly, if any?

Sell it and buy a SE 6cyl. Or just remove the radiator cap, and drive a SE v6 under it, and reinstall cap.

With the questions your asking, You obviously don;t know much on custom car work work . Do some reasearch and then come back with SPECIFIC questions.

well.. it all depends.. you'll definitely need custom IC piping. for the turbo piping and the turbo itself, i'm pretty sure it'll bolt right on. You might need to move some res around, maybe even delete some, but it should work out fine. you'll need another shop to do it for you though.
