I have a '07 Camry SE
Had 18" Chrome, but looked too small. Interested in getting 19" or 20" Chrome rims, but not sure which is the best option and tire size.
I do a lot of driving especially on the highway and there are mad pot holes on the roads. I want the car to look nice, but i don't want to sacrifice safety as well.
Just looking for some ideas and also tire sizes and offsets?
tires for 19 are harder to find and more expensive
20's are gonna hurt ride comfort....
I am not very knowledgeable about wheels and tires, but many people keep saying that 19" tires are hard to find and more expensive, but when I looked on TireRack.com, they seemed about the same price as the equivalent 18" or 20" tires. Am I missing something?
When i got my 20" i hated the ride. but then i measured my tire pressure and found my problem. My tires were all above 60psi i lowered them to 35psi and noticed a huge difference. But you will cry WHEN you hit a huge pothole. Im lowering my car on H&Rs and i know the ride will get a little stiffer but i don't mind it.
^^^uhh thats hard to hear. But o well, I will have to deal for the 4-5 months out of the year and drive carefully. for me with wheels, its either go big, or stay stock. I hate aftermarket, small rims. looks cheap.
i see a lot of cars with 35profile tires. its the best look. I had 40 on previous rims and ride wasnt bad at all.
I really want to say 20s but since your already complaining about potholes and that you have to drive on the freeway alot id say just stick with the stock setup if you want to say safe
