Truck floor wood thing

Hey guys, anyone see under the carpet of a trunk? Well, there's a piece of wood or something like it, that holds the tools required to change the spare tire and makes the bottom surface of a trunk smooth and conceal the spare tire. Mine has cracked down the middle and cause my trunk to become uneven. Anyone know where I can get a replacement for kinda cheap or what kind of material it is so I might try to make it on my own? (dealership asked for $200)

Thanks for the help, really appreciate it!

just go to home depo or lowes and buy some ply wood or something. trace it out with your trunk piece, cut it out, and put it in over or replace your old piece. cheaper...

^^^ thats what i did because the weight of the speaker box and all of my girlfriends stuff made the cover start to sag and crack. i bought a 4 foot by 4 foot piece of 1/2'' MDF and traced it out. trimmed it to fit and the trunk mat covers it and you cant even tell its there.

Often 1/2" MDF is to thick and makes a bulge around the edges. I used simple, thin hardwood type ply of press-wood form Loves/HD. To avoid sagging again, make some supports out of 2x2's at 3-5 different support points and it will last.
