Does it leak when it rains? Better have the dealer check it.

Mine is absolutely quiet when it is closed.

Gen 5 or 6?

I'd take it to the dealer and just ask what they think the problem is.

have the same prob. w/ my gen 5. close the sunroof and it is hanging about 1/4 to 1/2 inch below flush with roof. Can hear rushing air when driving w/ it closed. Did you find out what the problem was from the dealer? (mine not under warranty, soo trying to DIY)

i did search for the TSB, but I won't look through a bunch of pages to maybe( as half of the responses to the questions are telling someone to search) find the right info.

I am not a noob, but I still don't know where to find them. Where can the TSB's be found for this?

I went to www.camrystuff.com and downloaded the manual for the 2002 camry (even though mine is 2003). It gives steps for how to re-zero the sunroof. It is in the section "Sliding Roof Convertible". There are 2 makes of sunroofs w/ instructions for each one. Trying to find out which one mine is and then will do procedure. Will post here what I find out.

njerald - a little info like I just gave; will go a long way. If you dont know jack about the problem, please don't post saying to "search for it". We are not that stupid or lazy. The first thing we did was to search for the problem on this entire forum. This was the only thread about the same problem that I have. The TSB's are for the front of the sunroof (not moonroof) being loose. That is not the problem that we are having. Now having vented that is all I will say on this subject.

SCAMRY I hope the info above will help you out and I will post what my results are as soon as possible.

Followed the steps in the repair manual on pg 74-7 from site mentioned above. I have a
TMMK made camry. There are 3 resets listed and a chart to help you figure out which reset (A, B, OR C) steps you need to perform. Mine was reset C:

1. Push and hold switch on the TILT UP/CLOSE until the sliding roof tilts all the way up and down a little automatically.
2. Release the switch and within 5 seconds re-push and hold the switch on the TILT UP/CLOSE side.
3. The sliding roof will automatically move to full slide open and then reverse to the close position.
4. Release the switch.
5. Confirm "one-touch side open and close" and "one-touch tilt up and down" functions by pushing the switch briefly to the SLIDE/OPEN AND TILT/UP sides.

It has reset the zero and the sunroof closes properly. Hope this helps anyone who has the same problem.
