So I'm about to put my 2 12" LED strips in the trunk but I need to remove the old stock bulb out of the socket so I can plug in the adapter to connect them to.
I just went outside and tried for like 10 minutes to remove it, it seems jammed in there pretty tight. My fingers hurt from all the squeezing and pulling, and ultimately I just gave up.
Do you guys have any tips on how I can get it out easier?
lol it is a bitch, but here is what I did remove the plastic housing of where the bulb is in and then unplug the bulb. Its alot easier to get the bulb out when your not upside down.
He is talking about trunk dome light.
Try and grab it near the base.
Mine was stuck also. I was afraid to break it when squeezing
And get glass on my fingers...

Are you trying to pull out the wedge bulb? or the whole harness?
If it's the bulb, I like the latex/rubber gloves recommended above. If you don't have those, try a rubber band. I can't imagine it being stuck that bad.
For the harness, maybe needle nose pliers.

Use a carrot cut to size, push it in to seat firmly, then twist. IF it's the wedge kind, yare...pliers.
