Does anyone know how many amps the 07 v6 alternator is. Is there any hi output alternator that will fit?

I searched the pdf's of the service manual and the owner's manual and didn't find it either. Odd. If memory serves though I remember it to be in the range of 110 amps. Why would you need more than 100 amps? I doubt that you will find anything marketed as larger than stock unless you pull what you have and try to match it up and perhaps fabricate a custom bracket.

Gen6

I answered this exact question in this forum in July 2008.

Use the SEARCH.....or open your Service Manual - NCF section.

100 amps isn't enough for my car. Lights dim a lot when turning the music up. I'm running 2 amps for the interiors and one for my sub right now, I'm planning on getting one more sub and another amp for it soon. I guess custom is the only way to get a bigger one. Thanks for the help guys.

Ah, we get it now. You're one of those guys who has no respect for anyone else on the highway and spray sound pollution for a couple hundred yards anywhere you go.

As loud as it can get, the car keeps the noise in very well. I don't really turn it up loud around other cars to much.

I'm running 1/0 awg wire and going to do the big 3 when it gets worm out enough. It's still been cold in mass.

I have 1 12" FI Q and AQ1200D, Hertz HSK165 with a RF T600-2 in front, and ID OEM 6.5 with a RF T400-2 for rear fill. Planning on putting another FI Q and another AQ1200D or a AQ2200D in next month.
