Finally put on the wheels I've had sitting in my basement for about a month or two now, was waiting till it gets warmer and stopped snowing and having salt on ground. I duno why people make two threads about what they are going to do, then make a thread about when they actually do it, lol.
Mounted today and got two new tires on them, some Nexen N300 from a shop I work at for an amazing price.
Specs on wheels:
Maya STM 19" x 8.5" +36mm all around
Nexen N3000 235/35/19 Front
Fuzion ZRi 235/35/19 Rear
These are three piece wheels, so they were pretty tough to get the tires on, but finally was able to do it. Ideally, I wanted 235/40/19, but I would have to have them ordered seperately and stuff, and they'd be about double the price then what I paid for on the 235/35/19.
The +36mm offset is almost perfect for the front, close to flush, not exactly of course, the rear could do a bit better to be pushed out some, so maybe a wider wheel would've fit perfectly, either 9" or 9.5" in the rear.
Only a TRD spring drop, still considering about getting coilovers, especially since my shop gets them for a good price anyways, but not sure if it'd be worth it just for the drop, maybe I should do Tein S.Techs instead. I just wanna mimize the wheel gap to about one finger distance.
Just simple pictures in the limited space of my garage, will get some further away shots in the future.
Less talking and more pictures,
What kinda lug nuts you might ask me? Some Project Kics R40 in Neo Chrome FTW!
