this probably has been discussed many times.
i am thinking to flush the coolant on my 2002 camry 4cyl LE, 115k miles, vin# begins with JT, the coolant color now is between red and orange, i don't know when coolant was last flushed.

i also have a 2003 camry SE 4cyl stick shift that i bought brand new 6 years ago, vin# also begins with JT, and came with pink coolant from mfg, and i have not flush it yet.

i am little confused about the coolant color, 2002 camry 4cyl and 2003 camry 4cyl seem to have the same engine, does the 2002 4cyl use pink or red coolant?

it you are doing a full collant flush then the color don't matter since all the old coolant is not going be in the cooling system anymore. if you are getting the red coolant, you will need to mix with with water 50/50, the pink you will not need to mix.

As far as I remember Toyota switched to a new type of coolant in 2004. I believe it is called Superlife or something like that and it is fully compatible with other coolants Toyota has used before.

Just do flush and fill.

I bought some coolant for my 2002 today and it is longlife. Apparently for 2006 and above its extended longlife (or something like that), so it depends on your car.
