Hi

Was wondering if anyone has done this? I have a SE and don't get me wrong i think the HVAC looks nice and all but it would be great if i can swap out the manual climate controls for the auto that are on the Hybrid and XLE. if anyone please share your process thank you.

Nobody has done it as far as I know. The reason is simple - you need to rip up most of your interior HVAC, not just the headunit. The dual auto has servo/motors in place controlled by the headunit via sensors.

That was one of the main reason I got the XLE

They are not interchangeable unless you want to buy all of the sensors, wiring, actuators, and such to make it all work. (In other words, don't bother)

It is not just a case of unplugging the manual controls and plugging in the automatic controls.

In other words.. this is a repost that has been covered thoroughly before. Please try a search before posting questions up. Since the car has been out for 3 years now, almost every possible question that could be asked has been asked. Thanks.
