Exhaust/manifold question. Camry 1997 w/Cal emission
I am replacing my exhaust (cat). The one I have on there now is a federal exhaust, so the check engine light has been on for 1.5 years now... I couldn't get a CA anywhere I looked, with the exception of Toyota who wanted $1300 for it. So I bought a federal, and it worked (fit) OK, with the exception of the CE light. Now it's broken again, and I would like to replace it with a CA cat. However, when I went to put it on, it didn't fint. When I look on Bosal's web site for my car ('97 camry, V6 XLE), the two images for federal and California exhaust are different from each other. The federal exhaust looks like the broken one on my car now, and the CA one look like the new one I bought that doesn't fit.... Autozone doesn't have any other parts (so they say) that will fit the exhaust to the header. Anyone else having this same issue?
