digital speedometer

Hi all, I don;t know if anyone have been to asia but over there their camry have the normal speedometer that we all have on the North America version plus another one placed on the dash that shows the number inverted and reversed and on the windshield it would have this little small mirror that will reflect it back so that the driver can actually see the number. I've been trying to look for something like that or simply a simple digital speedometer but all ic ould find are those for bikes

i don't know if this would work on a car or anything
or if any of you know where I can find digital speedometer
Thanks!

This is known as a HUD(Heads Up Display). Quite a few vehicles come equipped with them, even dating back to late 80's GM cars.....

the best idea for something similar is using a iphone 3g and that app in the app store that serves as a HUD. if not then i think some gps could do something similar.

no clue. to be honest i never really tried the HUD stuff on the iphone in the car but i know its available. any HUD would work as long as u put it in the right spot and make sure it doesnt fall off the dash at high speed turns
