07 XLE remote lock strange behavior

I have been experiencing a weird random problem when locking the doors on my 07 XLE with the remote. About once out of every 50-100 times you use the remote to lock the doors, the chime sounds as if one of the doors is still open. None of the doors are open. I unlock it using the remote, open the driver's door, and lock it with the door lock on the armrest. Then it works fine. All the door switches seem to be working free and easy. The problem is that I am nearing the end of my warranty and the dealer can not duplicate the problem. (Naturally.) As i said, it is a very random occurance. I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this. If so, what was the problem and what was the fix. Remember, the XLE also has the factory alarm system.

Thanks for your input.

Mike

When it happens, look thru the window and see what is on the multi-info display. It displays open doors, hood, trunk, etc.

Mine has never had the problem...............

Wow Njerald was helpful, it's been a while since i've seen that lol.

Keep going to your dealer. It might be the batteries and if it's not that it might not be the remote at all, it could be the receiver in the car.

Key word. If you weren't helpful at all it would be a different story, buy you know your sh#t. I get frustrated too when people start threads about stupid stuff that a little bit or google can help them find.
Difference is, i don't bother posting at all.

Sorry for the quick jack Mike.
