camshaft seal(2)+crankshaft seal - $139
engine flush - $100
fuel flush - $170

all added up to a grand total of $1125

I have already done the transmission flush for $157
btw, what is a/c belt and p/s belt and how often should I replace them??
I honestly think these three items are not necessary at this stage:
camshaft seal(2)+crankshaft seal - $139
engine flush - $100
fuel flush - $170

I would just do the timing belt and water pump.

Your car only has 81,000 km, that is really low, it's only 3-4 years worth or driving (based on 20,000 -25,000 km/yr). Is all this maintenance really necessary.

Anyone else think this too, or is it just me. If you ask me, I honest don't think even a timing belt or water pump is needed at this time.

The average Camry owner well exceeds the 144,000 km limit before even considering changing it. I'm not saying go pass 144,000, but you really don't need to change it at this time

Anyway else thinks this as well?

It all depends on how proactive you want to be. I'm sure if the OP gets the timing belt inspected it will be a good indicator if the belt is showing its age or if it could go a few more years. Whatever the case, at least it's a non-interference engine. A lot of people just don't want to get stranded at all so it's easier and cheaper to just get things done preventatively.

I'm still on my original battery with no signs of it slowing down, but I'll probably replace it preventatively in a year or two. My old coworker is still on the original battery (same Panasonic OEM as me) on her '02 Camry, bought at the end of '01. Her car turns over slower than mine and after 7-8 years I'd just change it out to prevent getting stuck somewhere.

I dunno, this is based on the user manual, 6 years or 144000 km. I bought the car on Oct 2003 so it's close to 6 years now. I average around 15000 km per year only so it will be hard for me to get to 144000 km ^^"

anyone has any thoughts about this??

btw, what's p/s belt and a/c belt anyways??
