Would these rims actually fit? I was thinking of doing this set up and my heart dropped when I saw it - good thing it's photo shopped and the car is in the same color...

There is a member is that have these rims on. I believe it rub the brake caliper so you either use the spacer to push the rims out or you can shave the caliper (I think he shaved his caliper). If I were you, I would use the 5mm spacers instead of shave the caliper.

I remember that guy - he had the Hybrid rims and shaved the caliper question is are they the same dimensions?...How much would spacers run me?

5mm spacers run about $50 to $60 a pair. More expensive if you go with brand name like H&R, Ichiba.
