NEW Wheel time

Well, My brother & mom decided to offer up an early birthday gift - new rims - provided I get the tires, so it's a go

I am on 16" with my I4 LE.
Although don't have pics up as of yet, she is pretty stealthed out and will get the headlights done this saturday. I am going to move up to 17x7's with an offset target range 35-45 and no more.

Living in NY I don't want my ride comfort to drastically change.

Couple of questions (The car is a lease but I am heavily considering just buying it at the end.)
I am curious to know if I can swap from 16" -> 17" and vice versa for winter months without any serious impact to the suspension etc.
Kind of a hard question to answer using search feature.

I will also give consideration to lowering the car, but I wanted to assure myself I WILL NOT have any issues if I decided to turn it in at lease end.

So, essentially the questions are will I have issue swapping 17 - 16" during winter?
Will I have any real considerations suspension-wise, etc at lease end with a 16-17" swap and/or a lowering?

*I am assuming I'll be ok between 16-17 as long as I go no lower than 215/55/17 as is the base tire with SE alloy no?

215/55-17 is ideal but it also depends what the width of the wheel is going to be

If you're buying rims..go 18's. 17's still look too small on the Camry, 18's are perfect.

As for winters i have 16" winter rims/tires and i have 19" summer rims/tires. and switching is no problem at all.

Yepp, taking apart the headlights....the whole baking em yadda yadda process, covered in a few DIY threads. Putting fog lights in as well this coming Saturday (while I have the bumper off - makes it easier)

I am pretty sure the rim size will be 17x7's

I know how much better an 18" will fill in the gaps, and Paul has really tried pushn me as well for 18's. But honestly, I have little patience for NYC roads as it is, I still wanna be able to drive without feeling like I dropped the soap in a jail cell if you get my drift

Still not sure if mine will fit in my oven, heck, ill run an aluminum seal around the ovens' partially opened door to get it done if I have to....I don't pay for gas I am more psyched for the headlights than I am for the Blue Cosmos fogs.


Undecided on tires, I have to re-educate myself on speed ratings etc.

LOL I wish! But I am getting a rear sway bar and front strut bar
And also I might get a good deal on 18" 350z touring wheels

Probably more likely due to the fact that I'll be working on my decision for which rims to go with for ages lol

If the Lexus IS and GS have the stock rims as 18" then why couldn't our Camry handle 18"? I say go for 18"....I did.

Lam, I really am finnicky about ride comfort/quality here in NYC.. Potholes at every turn, I am often on the Belt Parkway which has some atrocious areas.
I asked a few people running 18's and have been in a few 18" wheel'd rides. Thats more of my issue, rather than fit issues.
