I've already brought my car to the dealership twice because of my car pulling to the right and they've realigned it and switched the tires around but same problem. When you let go of the steering wheel on a straight stretch of road (I've tested this on both highways, backroads, and different highways and backroads) the car will immediatly start pulling to the right.
Now what am I supposed to do, I talked to my dad's friend who is a mechanic and he told me to keep going back to the dealership until they fix the problem, but I don't know what else they can do being that this is the 3rd time I'm going to go. Can I force them to replace this (what part of the car controls the car pulling to the right or could be causing this problem?) or what else do you guys advise I should do because as you can imagine it is becoming inconvenient to keep going back to the dealership. Thanks all.
Show them that you're getting irritated and argue that they're not doing their job but just wasting your time. If they dont comply, try taking it to another dealer.
My 4-banger recently started pulling to the left but I think it's because I never did an alignment after my drop..
go to another dealership or pay for a better alignment. if your willing to come up here then i'm sure they'll give you a good price on alignment where my dad works. they'll make sure the alignment is good. i haven't heard anyone come back yet.

My car does the same.....its the road...remember the roads are not level...for drainage...try to get o a road without any cars and drive in the middle of the road....if it still pulls then it is the car...

Tried this on my way to get coffee this morning and I had the same result, I'll go to my dealership and ask for references to other dealerships in the area.
1. Take it to another dealer.
2. If you are still having problems, talk to the manager, start documenting your conversation, what was done of what date, etc.
3. Call them on your cell phone so there is a audit history.
4. Get them to do up paper work every time the do work on your car, keep all your paper work
5. If all else fails, contact Toyota USA (Toyota Canada).
Actually before you talk to another dealer, did you escalate this problem to the service manager, if yes, then escalate to the general manager, and so on. If that fails, go to another dealer. If the other dealers are a pain as well, do the steps outlines above.
