Buying a 2007 Camry, Questions.

I currently have a 1990 Camry DX and I love it but its too small, and falling apart. I wanted a sporty car so I was looking at a 5-Speed Scion tC but im not sure what i want to do.

I found a 5-Speed Camry CE at a friend of mines dealership, and I was wondering how rare the 5-Speed is in the 6th gen Camrys. Should I avoid the CE?

I am so lost at what to do...Idk if I want the tC or the Camry.

Any comments will help! Thanks! What should I know for buying my first dealership car?

CE is barebones and bigger. tC is at least decked out with some stuff.

Only you can make the decision as its your money and your own personal interest. Asking us or any other forum wont do no good. Its our opinion. We can tell you go to buy a new car or a Lexus or Benz but that wouldnt help you at all. But you have to ask yourself these...

1. do you plan on keeping it for a while?
2. how much you looking to pay for the car? if its a reasonable price and not lowballing, stick with it and negotiate with the dealer
3. what is your price range and do any fit it?
4. do you want 2 door, 4 door?
5. do you want room?
6. does it have everything you want?

Do a search on google for buying cars. There are plenty of hints and info on how to approach and what to look out for.

Seriously, asking us for opinions will just confuse the hell out of you as you'll be getting different answers and opinions. Again, in the end, you're making the final decision so you have to decide on what you feel is best for you.

If your going to dealership, bring someone with you who has purchased a car. There are things you might not catch or understand that they will. Unfortunately for me, I didnt have someone. I had to make the decisions myself, haggle myself.

Ive asked myself these things and came up with nothing. I want peoples opinions, so thats why I asked.

I want to spend at most 13, size doesnt matter, and Im planning on keeping it a while. I personally know the own of a local Toyota Dealership, so its not a dealer issue.

Camry will be great, it's very roomy and comfortable.

You and your passengers will enjoy the ride comfort.

I got a 5spd CE and i'm happy with it. The TC is too much of a girly car to me and is way too small, i'm 6'4''.
The camry is huge inside and out and comfortable.

The CE doesn't have remote door locks or power seats and i think thats about it as far as compared to the LE.

Stick shift Camrys are pretty rare, but you are guided by your wants of a stick shift and a low price. If the car fits your bucket and the price your wallet, then buy it. It should be more peppy than an equivalent automatic.

I would go CAMRY its more reliable car than the Tc. and if you want to have performance then go w/ Tc.

Our opinions will vary from each person...even from yours. I'm not being an ass but this is how I see it. If you're going to ask us for opinions, you might as well give us the money and buy it for ourselves. You're not buying it for you.

You pretty much just answered your own question. Size doesnt matter, you're keeping it for a while. You want to spend at most $13k. All you have to do is walk into the dealership, see which one you like more in terms of look and which one falls in your price range.

tC and CE are two different categories so both will have its pros and cons. Both made by Toyota so you'll get quality no matter what.

When you said "What should I know for buying my first dealership car?", first thing to pop in the head is "how to handle/haggle with dealers"

I consider my Camry to be a pretty small car...

Definitely not a large car...

The tC is tiny, and a boy racer.

+1 for the above. I also have an '07 CE manual and I am very happy with it.
