Turn headlights on when unlocking the car

Can this be done? Didnt see any threads regarding this one. Would be nice to have all my lights come on when I unlock my car. If this was discussed post the link so I can go to it.

Thank ya.

think it will be some work to get it done. best thing is to unlock and first thing put the stalk into auto position. much more simple then messing with alarms and wiring. check the service manual and see what u can hook up to so that once u unlock it will trip the headlights on. i'm thinking maybe dome trips a relay which trips the lights but i'm not so good with electronics.

Mine is in the auto position. I would like the headlights to turn on if its dark outside and I unlock my car. I believe I have seen it on viper units. If its not something easy maybe I can achieve it by installing a viper? Dont really know nor have I researched about viper units.

Mercedes have their fogs on when you unlock the car, and before you lock the car I think.

I think it's better like that, cause I got HID.

Remote starting the car turns on parking lights and/or DRL/Highbeam on Viper alarms

Unless your e-brake is on... atleast on the Gen 5s if the e-brake is on and you start the car the DRL's stay off.

I'm not sure if this will work for the camry though.

I know my Accord, if I leave it on the on position and lock the doors, after like 1 minute it will turn the lights off so you dont drain your battery. Right when you hit the unlock button your lights turn on. You can try that on the camry. But i dont htink it will work.
