is VIN engraved somewhere in the car?

I imported a car to Europe, and for homologation I must have the VIN engraved somewhere in the car... not the small piece of metal in the door... i must be really engraved...

the VIN is engraved in many places on the vehicle. on frame members in the engine bay, on the engine block, on a placquard on the dash. you manual will show you all the locations...

I dont know how it is in other countries but it could be different from US. There are some laws or guidelines that are different.

Will they allow it to be etched into the windows?

Just have it etched somewhere in the trunk, on the body itself. Or underneath the carpet, or roof liner.

I have checked the manual!
in my car (from Canada) it is only in the drivers door and the the front glass....
if you guys find some more place... could you please take a pic?

underneath the drivers seta there is nothng..... in the engine is the Engine number, not the chassis number (or VIN)...
