Gen6 bumper damage

some one hit my car in my wifes parking lot at her work.
she has been driving it to work ( i drive my 98 taco to work)
and someone cant drive and put a tiny place in my front rim(trd) and took a nice chuck of paint on my lip..and left some white/silver and yellow paint.(lower front spoiler) (will get pic tomarrow) it broke 3 of the top clips that hold it in and one on the under side, th actual bumper has no damage, i could see,

i priced an unpainted one at the dealer 194 for just the part, and 155 online.
but clips and stuff the dealer quoted me 250 for parts unpainted.

so should i go stock or is there aftermarket the looks nice.
i may just take it to a shop for an estiment....

i am so pissed........

Just take it somewhere else, they should be able to fix it.

i think rubbing compound will take care of the white marks and you can touch up the rest. But if you care enough than just have the shop do it. Make sure they get the paint from Toyota and they do the whole lip and that they sand it first.

looks like your wife hit something rather someone hitting her. Id think that if it was a car, the damage would be higher, the damage in the pics looks like she hit road debris.

do like what redline_me said, rubbing compound and touch paint. if you dun like the outcome then take it to the shop.

Definitely. Its wayyyy too low for a car or even a truck to hit and hit the bottom of the kit and not damage to the upper part of the car.

Your wife probably smacked into a poll or a high curb or something that was yellow.

i saw the car where it was parked.
it was a dirt lot and the rear was over a small bank front lip was about foot and half off the ground. and u could see tire marks in the dirt/gravel where someone backed in stopped and pulled away fast. corisponds perfectly with the angle and damage. there is a yellow beetle that parks in that lot sometimes. i will have to look at it.

i thought she hit a curb but she swears 3 or 4 times she didnt. she drivews 5 miles to work and 5 miles back all 2 lane 45-35 mph zone...

not gonna start an arguement with her ...

3 of the clips that hold it in at the top are snapped off, one under it also, and it is cracked under the fog light.

i reset it in to the lil metal screws the the wheel well opening and polished it out the best i could, looks better but bothers me....

my almost 30k(sticker ) car is scared, it will be fixed in the mext month or so.......ocd owns me

Is that her in the last picture? Looks too low but if the circumstances were correct maybe.

No wonder why you don't wanna start an argument with her. She got her hands in her pockets standing there about to yell at you like you did it. lol
