I'm Mike livin in Kuwait, I have this 05 Camry GLI, with a 4 Cyl engine, Wooden Interior, Sunroof, Alloy Rims, DVD player, TV, Blutooth Receiever in Dash, 64 Hard Dic Data Bank. but my car, as every other 5th Gen Camry sold in the middle east region lacks the ABS and EBD systems.
My Car is in an Excelent Condition, which Makes me Hesitate to Upgrade it and get the newest SE ...
2002 Camry SE V6 "Snow White" - She ate the poison apple and is asleep until April.
1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited "Grimhilda" - Geared Up For Winter!!!
I like how your headlights does not have the amber side marker reflector and how the side marker is on the front fender. I wish they did that for the USDM.
Definitely keep it if you ask me. I have a 2002 Gen5 and it's been very reliable, so yours being a 2005 would probably be even better as they work out the "Bugs" if any.
It's a nice looking car you have there, why trade in or buy a new one. Drive it a few years.
I wouldn't worry too much about ABS. If you know how to drive, it should be fine.
If you mean the spoiler on the top of the rear window, I got that from an ordinary car accessorie shop. This spoiler is specialy designed for 5th Gen and it originaly comes in dark transparent color, but well I had to take it to the Toyota Dealer to get it painted with the original Diamnond white (my car's color) .. to make it look as an original part .
After all, I'm more of a Stock car Fan .. than customising the car.
You won't get much for it, so it wont be worth trading it in. The car looks great and if it runs just as good than you are fine. I'm sure you guys don't get any snow and ice down there lol, so ABS shouldn't be needed as long as you drive safely. Except in the snow my ABS has never kicked in during dry weather.
