So here is a pic of the festoon bulb that fits with no issues in the car, and then the LED aftermarket I got from a shop a little while back. The map lights work fine, and I wanted to keep the interior lighting matched up, but as you can see, the LED is slightly longer and has ocassional moments of not working properly, and I assume so because of size/contact issues.
Anyone have any ideas before I end up re-outfitting the entire interior with new bulbs

where is this bulb from. the bulb in my front dome light looked completely different when i switched it out to a LED bulb.
This, I know, sounds pretty simple....just get the exact same size bulb dumbass.......but the LED was working just fine, then working periodically, then pretty much not working in that dome light slot. THIS is my frustration!

But the LEDs look too big compared to the original. You sure its the correct size? Put back the original and see if the same thing happens. If not, it could be the LED itself or simply the size that is causing the problem.
