Blame it on the warm weather, maybe, but the mpg has been steadily rising along with the temperature. I thought I was doing good at 34 mpg, then 35.98, now 37.1 mpg! Who needs a hybrid! WOW!!!

Do you only drive on highways at a constant speed and climb no hills? Even if all settings were perfect thats too good to be true. I only get some 24-26 :S.

Yes, that about nails it. I drive 80 miles round trip per day, mostly flat terrain and very few hills. Its mix driving with about 90% highway / 10% city.

What's your average speed? I've done ~55 MPH for an hour one time and got really good gas mileage. I think my best was ~28-29 MPG, but I'm not too sure.

How are you taking your readings? It's estimated mpg for highway is 31 mpg, and if you are getting 37 mpg, that is a 20% gain. That is a lot. And, you say you are doing 10% city as well, so it's actually a little more than 20% gain.

My average speed is about 65-68 mph. For what its worth, here are a few details:
Bought it used with 10,500 miles on it and changed to synthetic at 11,000 miles. I bought it in Dec. 08 and it constantly got 33.4 - 34.5 mpg through the winter. I fill up at Sam's just about once a week to keep everything constant with few variables. The only thing thats changed is the temperature (weather).

I note the mileage and reset tripometer (A) every time I fill up. I try to fill up at 1/2 tank exactly every time. Of course I just divide miles driven by gallons used. Also when it fills up and the pump shuts off I round to nearest .25 cents or so.

I know the dash display is not acurate but this morning my TCH was getting 46.1 on my way to work. I LIKE THEM NUMBERS!!! Now if it would just do that all the time. Fill up every 2 weeks and average about 38-40.
Costco fill the tire with Nitrogen @ 29psi.
I usually add 2-3 pound extra at gas station to make it 32psi.
Is 35-37psi to much or 32psi the correct setting?
