Polished GEN6 SE wheels?

Has anyone had theirs polished? I'm not into chrome (pealing/bling/weight), and have had many polished wheels over the years.

I like the look of gen6 OEM SE wheel, and won't need to upgrade size anytime soon (I drive my car into compressor stations - not very nice on wheels, and don't want to shell out $$ for 18s/19s when I drive a lot for company use).

I was thinking on having a set of SE wheels polished and cleared, then throw some spacers on (widest we can put on without new studs), and when time comes for new rubber throwing some wider tread on there.

Anyone have any pics of some polished SE's?

Aren't stock wheels already painted and polished? What do you mean?

you sand the wheels down from coarse grit all the way down to like 3000 and then use aluminum polish to really make the wheels look polished

There's an idea / DIY. As for the DIY maybe it could come in useful here.
Everyone has different methods but this could help you guys out as a base I guess

For sure. It's A LOT of work.

If I was planning on doing this mod ... I would put aside about 1-2 weeks per wheel. The last thing you want to do is to be all careful on the first wheel and make it look good. Then realize how much work it is then half ass the rest

yeah i will do my best for a write up... my brother seems to think that 8 hours a wheel is more than enough time per wheel but i will be sure to let you all know how long it really takes.

for those who want a idea of how the finished product will look then it comes out pretty close to the finish on my tsws. it's not exact but i seen someone who did this on their integra and they looked real good. i think this is a good idea and if i ever feel like it then i'll do it to my winter 16s
