It tells you how far you can go?

Mine doesn't, but I can make 450mi. on a tank pretty easily.
This is with the 2AZ, btw.

My I4 auto runs close to 400 miles around town (mixed). Quite a bit more on highway trips.

^ditto. my '03 2az-fe ranges between 380 and 430. i typically do around 13-16 gallon fillups with a 50/50 highway/city mix. between 28-32 mpg with an abnormal high of 35 mpg while driving on interstate 5.

on my '05 2AZ, i normally get around 280-300 miles before the light comes on. That equates to ~20mpg. This is ALL nyc driving so this is the best I am going to get. When I do road trips, and if i keep my speed below 80, I will usually average 25mpg or 400 miles until the light comes on.

I drive all city -- 320 per tank and that's about 15.1-15.6 Gallons per fill-up
