just bought a set of 17x7 2006 Lexus ES 330 6spoke rims for my Gen 6, the guy i bought them from said they are smoked/black chrome. my question is this, i did some searching and can't find anything about Smoked/black chrome lexus rims but i have found that lexus offers a graphite finished wheel. i need to touch up a few dings on the rims and can't find the color.

i have tried the local lexus dealer nd they don't carry touch up paints for wheels. anyone familiar with this paint? any idea where i can get some?

my next option would be to go to a wheel remanufacturer or refinisher but i'm sure i'll be paying out the wazoo then.

Do you want to try to repaint them yourself?

OR, you can strip them and clean them up and then take it to an auto-painter. It dosen't have to be outrageously expensive.

i would like to try and touch them up first myself, as they are not too bad, just minor scuffs and dings. but in future i will probably take them a professional if i cannot find a matching paint color.
