Hi all....I'm new to the forum and am from Canada and just bought a new 2010 Camry LE with touring package, leather, lip spoiler, hood deflector and chrome exhaust tip. With winter mats, cargo tray my OTR price was 33K CAD.
Now I am considering putting in the dual exhaust like the SE I4 now has. Will the dual exhaust give me the 10hp additional power as in the 2010 SE 4 cylinder? Does anyone know what kind of cost I'm looking at for this? Also where should I go in the Toronto area. Do I need to also change the rear bumber cover to accomodate for the 2nd exhaust tip or is there some other mod to fix this? Thx and looking forward to being a part of the forum.
how much HP will I gain with dual exhaust? SE has 179hp vs 169hp for LE and I'm not sure if just the exhaust results in this hp increase. Also is K&N air intake a good idea?

Reason: revise title
I'm considering selling my stock LE 16" alloys and installing the rims that were on the TCH 50th anniversary edition. I can get them for 127.50 US each plus $35 each shipping to Canada. Anyone have any other suggestions? I'm not looking to upsize the tires at this point but want something different from the stock LE alloys.
Rims are these one that I want to put on in place of the stock LE alloys....opinions? Better deals?
Go with local muffler shop for dual exhaust...keep LE rims for winter time.
Post some pictures
Will post pics once I take some. Someone wants to pay me $600 for the four OE rims so I may sell them. Any idea on cost for the dual exhaust conversion? I want the 2nd muffler to be same as the current and am worried about cost to replace the rear bumber cover.
You could just add the cut out maybe but thats up to you. Other than that, i think you would have to buy the bumper.
On the rims, you will need those stock ones for winter, trust me...you don't want your wheels on in the winter with all the salt and sand, they will get ruined. If someone offered me that money i still wouldn't sell them cuz i need them.

Welcome to TN
+1 That what I did on the cut out on the bumper for the second exhaust tip.

Back on stock height and love it!
My local Midas can do Y pipe with custom piping and replacement (non-OEM thought) for under $200
Let the shop cut out your bumper cover with low speed dremel
Viola!
I'm thinking the cut of the bumper will look unfinished. I guess if the exhaust pipe is close enough it wouldn't be that noticable. Looking under the car it looks like the room is there for the conversion so now to get some prices I guess. Wondering now if there will be any noticable hp gain from the 2.5L which at 169hp is not too bad.
People with these misleading thread titles!... I thought you had them done already...
Soooo...
Exhaust... Yes you will need to cut out a portion of the bumper for the exhaust tip. And you will get nowhere near a 10hp increase... You'll probably lose some torque going dual and gain some on the topend... The reason why SE's output 10 more is because they are tuned differently... But then again, 10hp is minimal and any one LE/XLE can match an SE's numbers if run on a dyno... So it might be all gimmick.
Rims... I'd say for that money, get some nice aftermarket 18's. If you want to stay OEM, look into the GS or IS rims.
+1 will look nice-several members have done it and looks superb
Can't wait to do mine but I want to use all-OEM equipment.
Please direct me to some pics that show the final product. I would prefer OEM as well as I'd rather just add the one muffler and change whatever pipes need to be changed than put in two new mufflers. What year is your Camry?
