Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I have a 2008 Camry XLE and I am looking to lower it, but I am undecided on which springs to get. I am looking at getting Eibach or H&R Springs, but I would like to know if you have them on now what the measurement is from the center of the your wheel to your wheel well. Also how is the ride with the springs that you have one? I am also looking at getting some 18" wheels to take up the gap. How is the ground clearance with the lowering springs.
either way you go, you will need upgraded shocks so keep that in mind.
You don't HAVE to..i've been running stock SE struts since i put the lowering springs on. But like anything you eventually will have to replace them. But that is with an springs OEM or aftermarket.
Looks like everyone wants springs but no one wants to pay for them. Someone tried to really low ball me on my brand new H&Rs that are still in the box for 200 bucks shipped. Don't insult me at least. If i was forced to let them go for that much i would just keep them just in case.
