I have this Parrot model installed on my 07 LE Non-JBL and it worked very well.
so how is the voice quality and if the calls are routed through the speakers or the module itself i have tried few of those because always found them short on quality but i have never tried a parrot model

I asked people on the other line and they said that the quality is fine. They can hear me just fine.
The call is routed through my headunit so that it will automatically mute the music and let the voice go through your speaker.
Just go to the Parrot website it will explain in details there.
I had a local stereo shop installed for me for $45 labor. If you're a handy man you can install it yourself.
Edit: Like a most bluetooth, it's sync to your phone and your contact list everytime you turn on the car.

Sorry guys, nothing beats the look of FACTORY INSTALLED Bluetooth. No ugly dash stick-on displays, no extra switches drilled into your dash at random places, etc.
Here in the province of Ontario from August or September there will be a ban on cell phone use while driving (except for Bluetooth earpieces and integrated systems). Those who cheaped out when buying their car initially are paying the price now. There is a craze to buy Blueotooth devices now. Heck, even our biggest chain of pharmacy stores (Shoppers Drug Mart) is selling Bluetooth earpieces. I never thought I'd see this! :P

I bought the toyota owned Blu Logic bluetooth accessory on ebay last week. My boyfriend installed it two nights ago...and though it may not be factory installed it's probably the closest thing to factory installed. Others will not see the microphone on the odometer dash unless they are looking for it and the switch that goes on the knock-out hole looks as if it's meant to be there. Installation was fairly simple, all the wires needed come pre-taped for easy hook-ups....only thing is you HAVE to follow instructions and you have to take out pretty much the whole dashboard apart....but it all pops back in no problem. I love love love it...it's awesome to be in your car driving without holding the phone up to your ear!

Canada is slow. Here in the states, talking on cellphones is a no no but yet, people still do it. When you buy new cellphones, they come with wired headsets for handsfree talking. Bluetooth is just a high tech version of it that runs on battery, wireless and works up to 30ft.
Those who are buying bluetooth earpieces or integrated systems are paying more. All one has to do is spend $5-10 on a wired headset and its the same as the two expensive alternatives. If anything, we're paying the price for these expensive items.
i am thinking to get this bluetooth car kit from parrot and i came across the blu logic one too the reason i am interested in one is because i can get it for $100 on craigslist brand new
do people here this it is a good deal or should i still go for a Blu Logic one which is on sale on ebay for $200
cooldudeny...which one can you get for $100 the Blu Logic or the Parrot???????
When I did my research on which bluetooth device to get, I immediately knew I wanted a Blu Logic only because it's what Toyota dealerships install in your car if you have them do it. However I knew I didn't want to pay upwards of $480 for them to install it, that's why I bought it on Ebay.
I bought it from seller: BeachToyota. Nice, easy and fast, it arrived in less than a week!
Like I said in an earlier post no one can see the microphone unless they're looking for it....and the installation is fairly simple, just a little time consuming.
I took a risk buying from Ebay, but I am glad I did.....if I were you I'd be cautious at buying anything for almost $100 less of what it's actually worth!

Yes I know in the States there are several states which have already banned cell phone use. However, I don't think that the wired handsfree thing is really a great solution. It's annoying to have headphones in your ears (I wonder how teenagers walk around 24/7 with headphones). It is true, as you say, that earpiece BT devices and BT integrated systems are way too expensive but the integrated system in the Camry is just so convenient!
Anyway, it's good that in general this new law is taking effect in the province of Ontario. At the end of the day, it should result in fewer collisions and fatalities. That's a good enough reason to mandate BT use (in whatever shape and form).

Well the wired handsfree is only 1 earbud. Unless you have phones that has headphones that does both cellphone and music.
This law thing wont do anything. You'll still have people disobey it. I know when people are on the phone is when they are driving slow as hell. Texting while driving is another thing. Its banned here in some states.
