I was searching ebay and saw VIS? carbon fiber hood, 07 camry wondering how that is or any other recommendations and my hood support is starting to get weaker? lol any aftermarket part for that? can't seem to find it anywhere..

Hood is great. Just remember to clear coat it 2 or more times. My hood's clearcoated three times and I'm also waxing the hood every week. CF hoods are hard to take care of, but if you do take the time, it looks great. Fitment will be perfect, you just gotta mess w/ the supports. For shocks for the hood, you have to custom fit the ends and do some custom work to your hood so it can support the hoodshocks. Once it does, it opens much faster than the OEM hood because its so much lighter.

i have red camry what do you think it will
look lke and when you say clear coat? clear coat with spray like 5$ at auto zone or the clear coat auto shop with professional spray gun??

I have a friend who has a red tC with a CF hood and it looks great.
It has to be done at a shop. The hood needs to be sanded and then clear coated.

go cf u'll love it. make sure to clear like paul said. i might go cf down the line if i get a good deal. for now i'm leaving stock.

99% of people clear it once.

Stock from the VIS/other CF companies are usually crappy clears.

Get your own bodyshop, and professionally clear it.. Not once.. Not twice... But three times.
