Gen5 2002 XLE Heated Seats

I noticed this morning while driving to work that the light on the "heated seat" button for the passenger seat is not working. There is both an orange light (working) and a light behind the seat image (not working). Has anyone replaced these bulbs or know how to get behind this button to replace this bulb?

Thanks,
HighRanch

I will help by offering a picture of the 2002 XLE dash.
The heated seat buttons are just above the console and below the the climate control.
Anyone ever removed this section of the dash?

You don't have to take the dash apart. Find something that is thin and sturdy and just pry out the button. Be careful not to scratch the button or surrounding area. Once you pop out the button you'll have access to the bulb. You'll have to order it from Toyota. They're only a few dollars each. I'd suggest buying two and replace them both. I replaced one a few months ago and found that the new bulb was brighter than the old bulb. Good luck!

Thank you "02 XLE V6", I was able to remove the button and find the very small bulb. I have ordered a couple of these from the Toyota Dealer.......at $5 a pop I hope that I don't begin to see more of these burn on on my dash.

Have you had other issues on your 02 XLE that have surfaced as a result of
the car reaching 6yrs old? Mine has been an outstanding car and I am just about 55K miles and the car is still like new.

Thanks again!

55K on a 02 Camry is not only new, but a freaking mint, brandspankin new car. Your engine will run forever if you maintain it properly.

Your welcome.

My car has about 75k miles, mostly highway, as I live in the burbs. It is problem free, tight as a drum, drives like new and the interior is mint. I love this car!
