I'm always cleaning my car, but I also travel alot so I maintain a good amount of dead bugs on the front bumper. Will buffing the car rid of the stuck dead insects? And does Toyota offer this service, or would you reccomend doing something else?
Thanks for the help in advance
(FYI, already used a clay bar and it just made the insects silky smooth)

Same issue that I have. What I usually do is wet it, then wash the bumper with a sponge and car wash soap, the go at it another sponge and bug/tar remover. Be sure to only use a little and rub gently. After its gone, wet it, wash it with the soap again and you are good to go. I usually do this once a week and its just disgusting to look at it let alone clean it.
Try to keep the front end of your car coated with wax. It helps keep the bugs from sticking to the paint and makes them easier to remove. I can get them off the front of my waxed car with just water and a wet towel and some elbow grease. I try to avoid using harsh chemcials on my paint.
Another trick that some showed me, Is WD40 it works wonders on bug and tar removal. I spray some on a cloth
go over each bug one at a time and gently rub them off then when I am done, I spray the bumper with water then use carwash soap and a sponge then rinse with my hose and spray nozel. Although I usually do this 1st before I wash the whole car.

I'm a big fan of WD-40, but I believe in this case it will also remove any wax on the car along with the bugs.
