Alarm problem Magnadyne Silencer PL21

The stupid dealership I bought my car apparently put in an aftermarket alarm thus forcing me to 1 1/2 hours away to the dealership where I bought it from to fix this problem. The alarm randomly started going off for no reason on and off all night last night. I know this because of the angry letter from my neighbors on my windshield this morning. Does anyone know what might have caused this? It started after I had driven home to san jose for the memorial day weekend. My LED is blinking 2 then pause, which according to magnadyne technical support means a
"Tamper warning - security system has been trigger from
the hood/trunk switch or electronic sensor."

I have a short term fix in which, while parked, I remove the fuse from the horn thus disabling any noise if the alarm is tripped.

Has anyone seen this happen before?

i have the magnadyne. Its very.. sensitive lol. If its something causing it, u can adjust the sensitivity through your alarm brain. If its random, then u should take it back.

What is the "normal" led state when your alarm is armed? Is it steady blinking?

Have you adjusted the sensitivity? If so, where is the dial? I've found the module but don't see any dial.
