painting costs more, and if you get tired of it you can just pull the vinyl off.

Contact BlueBatmobile he does roof overlays

Yea +1 for overlay's because you can easily take it off. But not sure how well it will stand up to the elements that its going to be put through.

I love the white m3 with the black roof.

The local nissan dealership in my town have been painting a few roofs on the white cars black... seen a murano and on the lot there are a few maxima's with black roofs. Looks good but from stock I think only bmw can pull something like that off.

I too, wanted vinyl, but chose paint instead.

I went to a few vinyl shops, and most places cannot do roofs because more than likely, they wont carry materials big enough. My guy told me that he could do it, but he would have to piece it and their would be a huge seam running down it. He said it would look dumb, then referred me to a guy that is painting it black for around the same price.

Another problem with vinyl's is because the roof is not flat and rolls downward on all sides, it is tough to get the size correct, and to physically apply the vinyl.

If you want vinyl, definitely go with BlueBatMobile
