Camry Carnage

I got into some shoulder rumble strips on the highway and I believe that caused the tire to blow out which in turn pulled me more towards the median causing me to run into the rubber/metal flexy poles before you get to far off in the median. Did $9k worth of damage. Trying to look at it like this: Her front end needed painted due to salt and rocks from when she traveled back and forth daily for school. Her drivers window tint was all scratched up from her letting the seat belt hit it. Tires were at 5/32 tread so we were about to replace those. So since insurance will only cover half the new tire we are just going to go ahead and buy new rims and tires for it. Hopefully I can just get the body shop to not even order her a new steel wheel in and hub cap. All in all it sucks, but trying to look at the positives to. I think the car was just mad at me because we were about to trade it in on a 350z.

Yea, no bodily injury at all. All it really felt like was a blow out. Since those poles are made to bend down they never stopped us. I just basically ran them over and was able to continue on and get back on to the road and what not. Air bags didn't deploy, which is kind of weird but I think since the force of the impact wasn't that hard that is why they didn't.

Ah, that is the most important thing, the car can be fixed.

car can be fixed. injury on the other hand is inreversable. can be life altering. look at it as a oppertunity to do some mods. maybe a 2010 front end conversion.

lol I know right. I think I have her sold on FINALLY getting some rims. I have been trying to talk her into getting a body kit and dropping it but living in Cheyenne...that thing would not make it through a winter.
I am a big JEEP guy so I spend a lot of money on it, so dipping into the Camry mods is me trying to even things out with spending between the vehicles.

Damn!

I told you Pawel, May is a bad month for everyone!!!

I was able to manage to stay home today, and Camry sits in the parking lot all day today.

I'm gonna check on it later this evening.
