5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to go ahead and swap the 8 LEDs in the stereo and 3 of the 6 LEDs in the HVAC with white ones.
I decided to leave the 3 lower ones on the HVAC their original colors because I was worried if I made every single LED white, it might look a little washed out.
I'm not going to do a DIY as 100% of the information I used to do this was already covered in Netforcers thread, but these are the LEDs I used:

It wasn't too bad. The hardest part was definitely the HVAC because to get to the LEDs, you have to unsolder the whole knob. The left and right knobs have 3 tabs you have to unsolder, and the middle one has six.
Thats so damn nice. Wish someone can start a service where they would solder the leds, ship it to the person and the receiver would ship back their original.

Not true... hahaha... I figured out a way to disassemble the knob without unsoldering it...

Looks nice, so you can't do this without soldering?
Also, how much did it cost you total with shipping?
If you don't want to do any soldering, the only thing you can do is remove the little green caps on all the LEDs which will make it shine blue. The stock LEDs are blue, and with the green caps, that's how you get that aqua color.
