Gen5 Found a part in my car...

I was vacuuming my Camry and I moved the Driver's seat all the way forward to get the junk under the seat. On the carpet there was a spring. The Seat is powered and still works perfectly, so I dont think this spring is from the seat. I was wondering if any of you though otherwise.

Thanks for any help.

also, if it's not from the passenger seat slider, does your car have a foot operated parking brake? if so does it still function?

I checked both seats underneath and none seem to be missing anything. They function perfectly. I have a handbrake.

I am not too worried about this as the seats still work, just curious as to where that spring is from.

might be a spring used for the cloth/leather to tightly hold on or wrap around the seat
