5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Would anyone be interested in a different brand from a more well known company (I'm not mentioning brand until I meet them and get the OK) that specializes in braces for Nissan, Infiniti, Scion, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru? On the 17th, I'm going in so they can test fit their products onto my V6. I'll have pics if things go well. Hopefully they all fit since I'm taking a day off to get them test fitted.
This thread is also for said company, to see what interest there are in the Camry market. If there is interest, it fits and if they want to pursue with it, they'll bring it to the market.
If the front strut bar fits, I may have a UltraRacing bar for sale.

I'm interested. I wasn't interested in the ULtra Racing bars.

I thought the Ultra Racing never fit correctly so let's see what these guys can come up with.
They fit. I had a problem with fitment. First front strut didnt even line up. Second bar was better but didnt just go over the bolts. Drew had the same problem. A friend said his slipped on nicely and I think others have said the same.
I believe this new one will be 3 bolts rather than 2. We'll have to wait and see. If they fit, I'll have them on the car for the meet for everyone to see.
And if my supplier for the coilovers is to be believed i should have them in 5 days. And if i can get them at least before next friday i can put them on for the meet.
Looking at the companies other products, the front strut bar is about $170 or so. Thats about $30-50 more than UR. Front underbody 4 point brace varies depending on size of car and the product itself. It can be from $180-250
Its still a "beta" or in test fitting stage. From there, they'll see if there is enough interest to mass produce it. No point in making if its not going to sell. So all this may or may not be released..only they know. I'm not a spokesman for them or anything. Just trying to help them gauge interest for our car and help out the Camry community by getting more aftermarket support.
So the 17th, my car will be lifted, products fitted, pics and measurements taken for R&D and we'll see from there. I'm the type that wouldnt subject my vehicle to stuff like this but there is no permanent damage to the car during test fitting. If it doesnt fit, it doesnt fit. No cutting of my car.
Tip - Do not bring up group buy, or anything like it...or i will have to shut this down as per TN rules

Dont worry. I'm not and wasnt planning on it. If they do sell, I'll let the makers handle it. All I would do is spread the word and help those interested find a place to purchase.
FOR EVERYONE: This is just a "feeler". No talk of group buy or sales. I'll give as much information as I can and know and from what they give me. This may not even fully launch.

im interested and also if they want a xle to test with i would be up for testing too. though i doubt it since they have you. pm me which company if u dont mind.
At the moment, I will not reveal the company until I meet with them and discuss. Dont know if they want people to know. Plus, never know with companies or how they are run. So there is no point if they decide not to release the product at all. All I know is that they are really busy at the moment thats why the test fit is for next week. So I dont want to bombard them with emails, questions or requests.
When I meet with them next week, I'll ask if they want to be revealed.
If you're interested in said product (front strut, chassis braces), just say so. I will also inform them of this thread to show them that there is interest.
The company Tim is gettin this done at makes top notch products and will help stiffin up the chasis up some more for the people that love the twisties. Im interested in parts for the 4cyl but they said they need the interest 1st before they spend the money on gettin the parts made. also in my opinion one more company avialable to make parts for us is better for us. so lets show some support and interest, these parts arent that expensive.
