gen 5 headlights

I have seen some threads about taking the orange plastic out from inside the headlights. Does anyone know that easiest way to seperate the plastic lens from the housing? Like I said there is a thread about this, but it does not say how the lens was seperated from the housing.

There is no easy way. It is glued together. Take a razor and cut along the seal, or put it in the oven.

The reason why I don't like doing this to mine is

1. You might break somethin.

2. If you do this on a semi humid day, then you will be sealing in moisture, and will have condensation inside the headlamp after you assemble it and use it.
