Gen6 Yellow fog lights

I have a 2007 SE Camry and would like to change the white fog lamp bulbs to the yellow ones . Did anybody do that on their Camry and if they did what brand bulbs did you get and where? Thanks.

I had 3000k Hid's in the fog and changed it up for the Nokya 2500k. Now I have a deeper yellow output.

Are the Nokya 2500k just a simple swap with the OEM ones or is there any modifications needed?

No Mods needed, plug & play, it took me a total of 15 minutes to pull back the undercarriage and install the lights. I had 3000k Hid's and it was a nice look upclose, but from down the block you couldnt distinguish what color the fogs were until it was real close to you. I would definetley recommend nokya brand lights to anyone.

I'm drawing a blank but didnt people have to change the harness to something more durable cuz it burnt if putting yellow bulbs? Or was that for Gen 5?

A lot of us gen 5ers changed our stock wiring harness when switching to aftermarket bulbs due to the bulbs making the harness melt. I personally run 9005 modded Nokya's(using the high beam bulb) and also changed to the high temp harnesses. It is a very nice deep yellow. I am assuming it might be the same for the gen 6ers?

Yet another thread about this??? Come on guys do a search....

Most people have changed or added a heavy duty wiring harness due to meltting of the stock harness with the Nokya 2500k yellow bulbs....

Why not spend the 10 bucks and just be safe.

Thread is closed to a search.
