Anyone run into a code B1648, pass side air bag satelite sensor initialization error. If so what did you do? Thanks.

A bad floor wire #2, or RH side airbag sensor, or RH rear airbag sensor, or center airbag sensor assy.

Go to the dealer or follow the diagnostic steps in the Factory Service Manual to pinpoint the problem and then replace the part.

How many miles are on this car? If it's still under warranty let the dealer deal with it.

You should take it back to the dealer and have it fixed for free under warranty. Otherwise you probably don't have airbags with MIL lit.

FWIW I am a dealer tech and just thought before I tore my hair out I'd ask around. The car wasnt crashed and SRS problems are rare. The center air bag sensor{ecu} was the culprit.

Air bag components are covered for 5yrs/60k miles.
