5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Strangest thing happen as I walk out to my car this morning. I was looking at the taillight as I had just replaced a bulb and to my shock/disbelief, I noticed the "Camry" emblem is now on the bottom of the trunk lid! So it seems like some prankster or whoever it is was messing with my car! I had to do a triple take to make sure I wasn't seeing things. They did a nice job too - even cleaning the adhesive of the original area. Anyone had anything weird like this happening to them?
This sounds better than having your rooftop antenna broken off from the black plastic housing & left lying on the backglass! Lucky you, a complete detail on your car may be next!
Hahahaaaaaaaa duuuuddeeeee!!!! that is funny!!!!! LOL
Phew! Glad mine is all shaved up.
Just make sure they didn't use super glue to re-stick it on your car, or you'll be screeeeewwdddd man!
yea that would really suck. im almost all shaved except for toyota emblems and a trd emblem. but im still on the edge about keeping the trd emblem. one thing i dont get is did he remove the glue and put on a new one or just somehow restick the old one. this definatly need a photo.
I forgot to take pics. Surely you can imagine from being on top but now its right beside the left taillight and across from "LE" - its where some ppl put the vvti emblem, thats where it is now haha. I dunno whether i should move it back or just leave it lol, doesn't look too bad actually. They probably took their time as its nicely align. I showed my wife and she was like "it used to be on the top?"
he or she re-sticked it (i hope) and they used the old floss trick to remove it.
Uhhhh...yea, someone carries floss/fishing line with them? They also happen to love to perfectly align someone elses emblem?
I'm not being rude, just my opinion. If they did, good for you. But i call hoax or cry for attention. It would of been better if they just debadged it completely.
