MOD QUESTION: Cold Air Intake

Hi everybody, I'm looking to purchase a cold air intake system for my '09 Camry. So far, the only listing is a K&N 69 Typhoon Series for about $320.00. My budget is kind of low, but if it's recommended I would buy a more expensive part. (I rather a less costing part though.)

Any suggestions and comments on what I should do? This will be the first part I buy for my brand new car. Help please...

Don't waste your money on something pointless and useless.

Buy a K&N drop in and you'll get the same results. Clean air! There's no HP gains, maybe a few MPG gain of gas..

true. But there is better ways to spend 320 bucks...for a "whooosh" sound at 3000+ RPMs lol

But hey that's just my opinion

So buying the cold air intake system does no HP gain?

Also, it's a brand spanking new car, should this be my first part? If not, what should be?

It's not going to void your warranty, only if the intake causes some damage to the car, or you do when you install it, but that's very unlikely since it's just piping with a cone style filter.

Go for the intake, it's not as if there's too many engine performance parts for the V6 anyways, so there's not a lot else to spend it on, other then custom stuff of course.

If you're on a low budget just go with the drop in. If you wanna spend the 300 bucks then buy the intake.

Go to a different dealership for service if it involves more then an oil change.
