Hey guys I just saw an Avalon guy post up this similar ebay auction.. This looks like the real deal! No need to cut out the key or anything!

HAHAHA Randy. I was thinking about getting switchblade. I emailed some buyers on ebay who purchased to see if getting it cut and programmed from dealer gave any problems. Key works and transponder chip in the aftermarket worked as well.
This is the one I saw.

Hey, we can use the transponder from the OEM key too. I'll probably just buy the housing with the uncut key, and transfer the transponder.

Possible. But its a matter of will the chip fit in the housing.

I do too. I would get rid of the key they gave me and use the switchblade. I dont even use the buttons on the key itself..I just want it for the switchblade effect.
